In a horrifying incident, a cab driver was stabbed to death by his passengers in the hidden myst of night.
Imagine this, you are simply providing service to your customers, earning your daily wages, and the next moment you find yourself struggling to live.
This unimaginable incident turned into a reality for 35 year old, Dharam Pal, a cab driver on the night of 31st July, 2023. As, Dharam Pal, was dropping a few passengers off near Palm Residency, Mullanpur barrier the passengers cum assailants slit his throat with a knife at 9 PM.
In a fight for survival, he walked 100m away to seek help from passers by. The passers immediately called the police and ambulance to the location. However, none reached the location till 25 minutes had already passed. The police rushed the cab driver to PGI where he was declared dead upon arrival.
With the case being investigated, and CCTV footage being searched, the police is searching for the killer passengers. The only information reported, was that the passengers were picked from Sector 43 Chandigarh and were to be dropped at Mullanpur, Mohali.
Additionally, with the incident in view, the cab drivers of Chandigarh lay on strike, seeking justice for Dharam Pal.
