CM Sukhu resigns claimed Jai Ram Thakur, HP may get its new CM by evening

Biggest turn in HP Poltiics: Sukhwinder Sukhu Resigns after Minister Vikramaditya, 15 MLA's of BJP got suspended.

A major turn took place in HP Poltiics just after the victory of Harsh Mahajan with the help of cross voting. As per sources,Jai Ram Thakur claimed that CM Sukhwinder Sukhu has submitted his resignation to the congress committee amid the situation arises in the state. A high level committee can give their decision by evening and HP may get their new CM by evening.

Earlier, In a press conference, Vikramaditya Singh announced his resignation, stating that tough decisions are necessary for the welfare of the people. He mentioned that being continued in the current government was no longer appropriate but tensions rise further with the suspension of 15 BJP MLAs, including Jai Ram Thakur.

After the results of Rajya sabha which came out yesterday and BJP grabbed the victory, now the politics in Himachal Pradesh is undergoing a roller coaster ride.

The BJP claims the decision to expel 15 MLAs, including former CM Jai Ram Thakur, in Himachal Pradesh is to save the government.

The Assembly now has only 10 members for any voting, making it likely for the budget to pass smoothly. Congress sources suggested that it's a part of the Himachal government's strategy.
