DCW chief Swati Maliwal spoke about the viral Holi video in which men applied colors to women.



Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chief Swati Maliwal spoke about the viral Holi video that has been surfacing on the internet recently. In the video, some men can be seen applying Holi colors to a Japanese woman forcefully. The girl getting harassed and molested kept screaming but nobody came to her rescue.


Swati Maliwal while addressing the media revealed the dark truth of her childhood. She said that she was also sexually assaulted by her very own father when she was a child. He used to beat her up and due to the continuous terror, she used to hide under the bed.

Earlier, BJP leader and a member of the National Commission for Women, Khushbu Sundar also talked about how she was sexually abused by her father at the age of eight. She further added that with her revelation she wants women to speak up about what they've gone through.


The victim in the video has issued a notice to Delhi police regarding the same. Netizens have also tweeted their strong viewpoints and opinions on the matter. They demand that those guilty should be identified and put behind bars.
