Online Applications for PU hostels to begin from 12th of July.

Panjab University shall restart its online portal for hostel applications on 12th of July after a gap of three years since 2019.

To begin with the online applications shall be invited only from first year students. Other classes students including the research scholars shall be allotted hostels offline.

The committee formed under Dean Student Welfare Jatin Grover shall look into the same. It has been noticed that students have been demanding for a transparent hostel allotment system since long due to discrepancies in offline System many times even meritorious students are deprived of hostel facility.

There is always a rush for hostel seats in the University as seats are less and accommodation outside the premises is heavy on pocket. The online process shall reign in transparency, reliability and openness in the system.
