Student centre beautification became a credit war; Sath and CYSS came against each other, students claimed the war name as 'Actual President v/s working President'.
The heat of Votan PU Diyan is almost making everyone sweat and with each drop of sweat each party wants to leave no area to take credit for the work accomplished.
Panjab University, Chandigarh has recently seen a drastic change especially at the student centre but beautification of the StuC became a controversy between two student parties.
Earlier, the ruling party took all the credit for its beautification by stating it as the part of their manifesto and started promoting the same in the students community. Days after that Student organisation SATH had released a video and exposed the CYSS by mentioning how memorandum can bring such change that too that are without any diary number. SATH also stated that they also brought associate DSW in September with them to analyse the situation at student centre.
After, the SATH video, now some CYSS members came out with a video as a reply and asked them to work on ground rather than submitting memorandums. They also highlighted how parties took credits by submitting memorandums. After that Sath invited them for an open debate on the issue.
The matter has just become a controversy now leaving many questions aside: If CYSS feels the actual work was done by them then why did they not submit the memorandums of other work? Is this some form of protest done by the party? If SATH is just taking limelight then who is the actual owner of this beautification? However, NAAC and administration words may remain silent.
