UMC cases: ABVP INSO clash over PUCSC president memorandum
Third day of protest for the UMC Cases has turned out into controversy when PUCSC president Jatinder Singh today submitted a memorandum to Vice Chancellor regarding reviewing of UMC cases again and forwarded it to the Committee.
But this turned out to be called as "credit chor" by ABVP and INSO as they are protesting from last 3 days and as per protestors, the same thing has already been mentioned to them in the meeting where they completely refused it because they didn't want the same committee to review the cases. A new committe should be formed who atleast listen to their voices.
Slamming Jatinder Singh, ABVP president Rajat Puri stated that NSUI is against the real interest of the students and just running in the race to take credit. The question still remains the same what if the committee in reconsideration also makes a uniform decision for all and what about the gravity of the punishment that is to be being given?
Similarly, Deepak Goyat, INSO general secretary also stated that today they had a word with the authorities. They told us to give a review application for reconsideration of all the cases of UMC. As we earlier stated, the UMC committee who heard the cases violated the principle of natural justice as they didn’t hear the students and passed the order. We again demanded the authorities to change the Committee and forward the review application of the students to the newly formed committee.
It's crucial to ensure that all students involved have a fair chance to be heard and that decisions are made in a justified manner. Keep advocating for what is right and continue to push for the changes you believe are necessary.
