Enormous amount robbed from cash collection agent in Elante Mall , three arrested.

A trio is accused of stealing Rs 11.14 lakh from a cash collection agent in Elante Mall.The robbers named Jasleen Kaur of Sector 36, Rahul of Kajheri and Rupinder Singh of Phase 3B1, Mohali executed the plan of stealing money in Elante Mall. One of the burglar was caught red handed by the security gaurd while other two were arrested later.

The dupe Sukhbir Singh, works at the Hitachi Cash Management Company, Industrial Area, Phase 7, Mohali was visiting the mall with his team for collection purpose.Rahul and Rupinder robbed him by blinding him with pepper spray and grabbed the two bags of ₹5.8 lakh and ₹5.34 lakh.They also stole his wallet and Adhaar Card.The victim was taken back in the company vehicle to ensure his safety.

The security guard doubted the accused and stopped them. He questioned him and handed it over to the police. The other two robbers were also caught.Jasleen has been working in the mall in the past and the trio was planning this whole robbery from past two weeks.

A case was registered under Sections 394 (robbery), 120-B (criminal conspiracy) and 411 (dishonestly receiving stolen property) of the Indian Penal Code at the Industrial Area police station.
