Wherever is Lord Ram, there is his beloved devotee Lord Hanuman and wherever is Lord Hanuman, there is Lord Ram. Therefore, a magnificent 111 ft tall idol of Lord Ram will be installed soon at the famous Jakhu Temple of Shimla. In-principle approval has been received from the Chief minister, Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, as per the statement of President of Sood Sabha Shimla, Rajiv Sood.
He also stated that a conversation was held during which all the concerned organizations unanimously passed the resolution and the Chief Minister has agreed to the proposal. If this happens, the Himachal tourism business will get to fly even higher.
Jakhu Temple already attracts many tourists from across the world every year and this big step will add more to it besides adding to the joy of devotees of Lord Ram. The Chief Minister may officially make this big announcement on 22nd January 2024 in the Ram Mandir program and the work will be forwarded to the Tourism department.
