Yet another saddening episode of attack on Hindu students took place in Pakistan on March 6. On the occasion of Holi, students were beaten in the university premises. A video surfacing social media is seen to have sounds of gunshots along with "Allah Hu Akbar" chants in the background.
It has been alleged that the attack was done by members of IJT (Islami Jamiat Tulba), which is a radical student organisation. On protesting outside the Vice Chancellor's office , the university security guards thrashed them mercilessly.
However IJT has clearly denied any involvement of their members in brawl with students of Hindu community. The university administration has ordered an investigation into the matter, nonetheless the action is still awaited amidst the growing anger among the minority Hindu community.
