Following a 3 year gap due to Covid 19, the Punjab University Employees Cricket Team is all set to participate in the 18th All India T-20 Vice-Chancellors Cricket Cup 2022
The tournament will commence on November 2, 2022 at Chaudhary Charan Singh University of Hissar.
This event will bring together 28 teams from different universities across the country.
As a long-time participant in such cricket tournaments, Panjab University has also been able to secure positions. At the 17th tournament held at the University of Kolhapur, PU secured a place in the quarterfinal. In addition to Surinder Singh Captain, Amrinder Singh Bajwa vice-captain, and Naveen Pathak all-rounder, there are many other distinguished players to be a part of this event.
Vice Chancellor Raj Kumar, Panjab University, Chandigarh, gave his best wishes to the team and instilled encouragement in them.
