North East Girls ready to shine at NCC Republic Day Camp
North Eastern girls are ready to grace their debut in the NCC Republic Day Camp. A band, composed of 45 girls, will represent the rich cultural heritage while simultaneously depicting varied corners of the country. At the remarkable ages of 13 to 15, the girls will be for the very first time, have a promising performance and a deep diving impact on other young minds.
While addressing his pride in a press conference at Delhi Cantt, Director General of NCC, Lt. General Gurbirpal Singh shared that a total of 2274 cadets including the highest participatory ratio of girls ever, the number being 907, will be engagingly participating in the month long camp. Mr. Singh also exchanged the fact that cadets and officers from 25 countries will also participate, thus increasing the enthusiastic vibe.
Furthermore, he highlighted the aim of the Republic Day Camp, which is to offer exposure to rich traditions of the nation and structurally align and strengthen the value system of cadets. Additionally, the camp is aimed at providing the best possible cultural exchange programme, besides the principles of unity and diversity along national integration.
