PU Pulse brings to you some guidelines as well as some important things you need to know for PUCSC Elections.
In a meeting of chairpersons of the various departments, headed by Dean Student Welfare Jatinder Grover, the essential criteria for approval of the nominations was laid down.
The interested candidates must ensure 75% attendance till 30th of August. They must carry DMC's of class 10th and 12th as proof of date of birth and DMC or Bonafide of the last passed exam to ensure eligibility. An original ID card must be carried by them all the time during the elections for verification.
Also, the candidates must file nominations within the stipulated time limit or their nominations may get cancelled as one has to submit the form by 10.30. Two witnesses to support the nomination of the candidates should be present while filing nominations.
The candidates must carefully fill the form for which they wish to contest whether DR or Office bearers or both. Make sure that filling the wrong form results in cancellation of the nomination.
The students are also advised to vote in elections as attendance for voting is given to students for the entire day and voting day shouldn't be seen as an occasion of holiday.
