On Friday, Neeraj Saluja director of Ludhiana-based SEL Textiles got arreested in Bank fraud case of ₹1530.99 crore in CBI.
On 6 August, 2020 CBI booked yarn And fabric manufacturing company with units of malout from Nawanshahr in Punjab, Nemrana in Rajasthan and Hansi in Haryana along with its director on a complaint from bank will be presented in special court in Mohali on Saturday
During the investigation, CBI stated that "huge amount of primary security against the credit limit such as stock and finished goods were allegedly disposed off by the accused to misappropriate bank money as sale proceeds of goods were not deposited with the bank".
CBI also stated that during investigation several persons were examined and the director was found vague in this replies.
