ABVP Chandigarh unit announced: Rajneesh Sharma takes charge as City President and Ishu Chowdhary as City Secretary in ABVP Chandigarh's New Executive Committee on 75th Foundation Day

On the occasion of its 75th Foundation Day, the Chandigarh Unit of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) organized a seminar at Sector 15's Community Center, where the formation of the new executive unit for the year 2023-24 was announced. Esteemed guests, including ABVP North Regional Organization Secretary Vijay Pratap, Chandigarh Mayor Anoop Gupta, State President Rajan Bhandari, and students from various colleges and Punjab University, graced the event with their presence.

The newly constituted executive team consists of Rajneesh Sharma as the City President and Ishu Chowdhary as the City Secretary. Ishu Chaudhary earlier worked as president of ABVP SD college .

Apart from this, PU persons also got promoted as senior research scholar face of PU Rohil Oberoi appointed as Vice President along with Varuchi Sharma, Vandana Arora, and Puneet Raina. The responsibilities of the City Joint Secretaries were assigned to Prashant, Samriddhi, Priyanshu, Aryaman Chahal, and Saurabh Thakur.

The primary role of the newly formed executive committee will be active participation in student union elections across all colleges and Panjab University within the city in the upcoming period. Throughout the year, the committee will work diligently for the betterment of society and the welfare of students.
