On Tuesday, Panjab University unit of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) member raised 10 demands which they claimed to seek student welfare and submitted a memorandum for the same to the syndicate members.
The demands of the ABVP include conduction of PU-PHD entrance exam for all arts subjects in Hindi, English as well as in Punjabi, special chance exam to all department students, raising of stipend for BDS and MDS students, reopening of arts block canteen, immediate announcement of date of PUCSC election among others.
ABVP demanded for a speedy and effective action to their demands from the university authorities.
