CYSS team reached Zoology department amid ABVP new executive formation program in auditorium, raised voice regarding free allocation of auditorium, ABVP reverted back while stating them as party with no issues left
It seems that Panjab University campus got divided into two sections after the student body elections and this ABVP vs CYSS don't seem to be ending anytime soon. On the one hand, Team ABVP continuously put allegations on the PUCSC President's admission, on the other hand CYSS also doing every little possible to make ABVP down.
The same incident happened this evening when Team CYSS along with PUCSC President Aayush Khatkar reached the Zoology department where the ABVP new executive member program has been scheduled at 4 pm. The CYSS team had a heated argument with the chairperson of the department for giving them the auditorium free of cost as they alleged that ABVP is a private organisation and University can't allot them auditorium without taking any fee from them. They asked the chairperson to show them the slip of fee they pay to book the auditorium. President Aayush clearly stated the Zoology authorities have biases towards ABVP team. Meanwhile, the chairperson told them that even if they come they will allot them the auditorium and after the argument, the CYSS team reached the Vice Chancellor office.
In the meantime, ABVP held its program in the zoology auditorium where they announced Rajat Puri as President and Krishna Chaudhary as Secretary for the upcoming session of the Vidyarthi Parishad in presence of senior executive members.
On taking the statement from new President Rajat about the auditorium he said that "ABVP is not a political organization, neither is affiliated to any political organization, however we are a student organisation with our own registration number. Today ABVP got the Zoology Auditorium booked for the students being a responsible student organisation and in fact paid the requisite amount for its booking. It feels like CYSS is now left with no issues, that is why they are resolving to this petty politics."
It seems that both parties are now taking their ideology difference to the next level and clashing with each other verbally day by day.
