Amogh Lila Das has been criticised for his comments against Vivekananda's fish eating habits; No virtuous man would harm a living being.
Das has found himself banned due to his controversial remarks against Swami Vivekanand and Ramakrishna Paramahansa. The comments according to the ISKCON in his viral video had sparked outrage. Kunal Ghosh, TMC state general secretary also expressed his disatisfaction against the remarks and had earlier urged ISKCON to take action.
His remarks on ‘joto mot toto poth (there are as many paths as there are opinions)’ had also caused spark which led to his one month ban.
Earlier, Das had been in controversy due to his remarks on morality of 'live in relationships', need of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, criticized people for marrying late while blaming their unrealistic standards.
