Amritsar's famous Golden temple witnessed the third blast in five days around 1 am which was 2km from the Main Street of tourists.
The first blast occurred on Saturday,May 6 which injured a person and damaged the buildings and the second on Monday, May 8 injured another person.
The Police said that the explosive was kept in the container and no detonator was found and was packed in two health drink cans.
The sample of the blast was collected by The National Investigation Agency (NIA) and the Punjab Police from the site.
Along with that a Special Investigation Team (SIT) will also begin their investigation regarding the blast.
After that, today in the morning DGP Punjab Police while addressing the Police and CM Bhgawat Maan twitter said, “The Amritsar explosion case is solved with arrest of 5 people and a press conference will be held in Amritsar. Also they assured that the police will maintain the peace and harmony in Punjab as per the directions of CM”.
