Excited Tim Cook inaugurated the company’s first-ever retail store in India with drum beats.
It welcomed a rush of crowd in an Indian style as this is the very first outlet in the nation which is located at the Jio World Drive mall in the Bandra Kurla Complex with over 100 employees who collectively speak more than 20 languages.
As per the company, the store had display tables and avenues featuring the latest iPhone, Mac, iPad, AirPods, Apple Watch, and Apple TV lineups, as well as accessories like AirTag. Apple BKC also offers Apple Pickup, which makes it even easier for customers to place an order online and pick up products when it’s most convenient for them.
Cook came out from the Mumbai retail store and took selfies with the first Apple buyers who came in big numbers and further expressed his love and support, Tim Cook also tweeted “The energy, creativity, and passion in Mumbai is incredible! We are so excited to open Apple BKC — our first store in India.”
Furthermore, Apple has plans to open its second store in the country, Apple Saket, on April 20 in New Delhi which would fuel Apple's growth in the year ahead.
