The countdown for Chandrayaan- 2 mission launch that started at 6:43 PM (Sunday) is progressing smoothly. With less than 5 hours, the mission, is all set to launch at 2:43 PM (IST) July 22.
#Chandrayaan2 is the first of its kind as it will shed light on a completely unexplored section of the Moon- its South Polar region (Dark side of Moon).
The GSLV-Mk 3 rocket (Bahubali) with Chandrayaan-2 spacecraft was originally scheduled for flight at 2:51 AM on July 15. However, the flight was postponed after a "Technical Snag" was detected an hour prior to the rocket lift-off. According to the sources, non-building of sufficient pressure in one of the helium tank in rocket is that Technical Snag.
Awaiting for historic and proud moment... Best wishes to #ISRO from PU Pulse
