"Teach a girl, and she lights up an entire generation", the age old saying has once again been proved right by the tremendous feat achieved by the daughters of PU.
With each progressing year, PU has witnessed many achievements but two such achievements which have not only made the University, but the entire nation proud.
Harshita, a student of Masters in Technology of PU, is all set to become a flying officer, and reach new heights. This comes after she bagged AIR-9 in the F CAT exam. She had already cleared the GATE and also received a research offer from DRDO but Harshita wants to serve the country by becoming a flying officer.
On the other hand, Megha Thakur, a student of Masters in Microbial Biotechnology course in Panjab University, has been awarded a scholarship by the prestigious University of Melbourne. She is all set to pursue a Masters in Food Science and Technology.
Both the students belong to the Una district of Himachal Pradesh.
PU Pulse congratulates them and wishes them the best for future endeavours.
