Delhi bans :- bike taxi jobs at risk
Motorbike taxis are banned in Delhi for commercial use which gives a shock to companies such as OLA, UBER and RAPIDO.
Government issued a notice regarding this saying private wheeler carrying passengers violates Indian law. As according to the Motor Vehicles Act, private vehicles cannot be used for commercial operations in India.
Same incident also happened in Maharashtra when the government refused to grant licenses to motorbike taxis in January which in return took the companies to court but ended with a failure.
This ban will affect the lives of people as it is hard for the people to complete their needs without the extra income.
Although the companies haven’t spoken up till now on this.
