On November 1, an indefinite protest was started by the Visually impaired with the support of student organisations - ASA, Sath, PSU(L), HPSU, SFS, NSUI, SOI, CYSS, INSO, PFUS, and PUSU.
The visually impaired students protest is to meet their basic needs like access to reading material in the library, assured hostel accommodation, transport facility and concessions in the fee .
They had been on symbolic protest from 14th October but have received no adequate response from the VC office or the PU authorities, claimed the agitating students.
