Department of Law to organise it's 5th convocation on 12th August 2023

The faculty of law at PU is all set to organise its 5th convocation for students of ‘22 batch.

To celebrate the hard-work of all LLB and LLM students, who have rightly earned their degrees after 3 years of studies, the faculty of law will organise its 5th convocation ceremony.

The convocation will be held, in the Law Auditorium/ Gymnasium Hall on 12th August, 2023 from 9:00 AM onwards, where students will be handed their degrees.

A rehearsal for the ceremony, has also been scheduled for the students on 11th August, 2023 from 3:00 PM onwards. It is mandatory for all the students, to attend the rehearsal.

For the students who have already taken their degrees, the faculty provides a chance to submit their degrees back to the department, if they wish to take the degree during convocation.

Students passed out from UILS, PURC Ludhiana, Hoshiarpur , Sri Mukatsar Sahib during the period of 2019-2023 are advised to approach their institutions for the same.

A few cautionary notes mentioned by the department further note that the students should reach one hour before (i.e at 2:30 PM) for rehearsal and half an hour before (i.e at 9:30 AM) for the convocation.

No one will be allowed to leave till the ceremony is over. Parents, will also not be allowed inside the auditorium.

Lastly, items like briefcase, cameras, mobile, water bottles, handbags etc. are also prohibited, inside the auditorium for the ceremony.
