Election Officer Admits Tampering; No Re-election, Previous Votes to Be Counted



In recent developments, the Chandigarh mayoral election has taken a new turn. In today's Supreme Court hearing regarding the election, Election Officer Anil Masih has admitted to tampering with the mayoral electoral ballots. He confessed to signing "X" on 8 ballot papers.


The Supreme Court has ordered the officer's prosecution and stated that any ballots marked by Anil Masih will be disregarded, meaning they will not be included in the total count of ballots.

The court has requested the ballot papers and recordings, and a further verdict will be given tomorrow. Stay tuned to PU Pulse for further updates.
