"At its heart, engineering is about using science to find creative, practical solutions. It is a noble profession." ~ Queen Elizabeth II
An engineer is a person who seeks simple, effective, and cost-saving solutions to some of the industry-breaking or revolutionizing problems. Engineers invent or discover such practical solutions using basic principles of science related to any field, be it electronics, electrical, chemical, mechanical, and so on.
Some famous engineers like Nikola Tesla, Henry Ford, Alexander Graham Bell, APJ Abdul Kalam, and many more, invented things that directly or indirectly made our present lives easier and laid the foundation for many more technological advancements.
One of the most sought career options in India, engineering is like a virtual gateway to many other career options as well, apart from the core engineering fields. Not only this, many famous actors, singers, sportspersons, etc., graduated as engineers. These facts prove that engineers are not just bookworms or nerds, they have an all-round personality and can excel in other conventional and unconventional career fields as well.
So on this birth anniversary of India's first civil engineer, Sir M. Visvesvaraya, PU Pulse wishes all the engineers a very creative and joyful Engineers Day!!
