Family members of Famy Care JP Taparia, have bought a sea-facing apartment worth 369 crore in Mumbai from Macrotech Developers which is an entity of the Lodha Group.
The apartment constitutes the 26th, 27th and 28th floor Lodha Malabar, a super-luxury residential tower and has an area of 1.08 acre.
This property according to reports is the most expensive residential apartment deal in the country as per square feet basis as the total area of the complex is 27,160 square feet and the cost that JP Taparia family paid to purchase is Rs 1.36 lakh per square foot.
The Taparia family acoording to sources paid Rs 19.07 crores on the stamp duty alone.
Earlier, this year Niraj, Bajaj Auto chairman Bajaj bought a penthouse from Lodha Group a sea-facing triplex luxury penthouse for Rs 252.5 crore.
