Four medals have been confirmed by the four exceptionally skillful women of India: Nitu Ghanghas(48 Kg), Saweety Boora (81 kg), Lovlina BorgoHain and Nikhat Zareen(50 kg).
Nitu Ghanghas who is also known for being Champion of Commonwealth Games in boxing, recorded a second round Refree Stops Contest to win over Madoka Wada of Japan.
Saweety Boora , on the other hand, confirmed a medal after beating 2018 Bronze medal winner Viktoriya Kebikava of Belarus.
Nikhat Zareen confirmed her spot by recording a hard fought 5-2 points win against Chuthamat Raksat of Thailand.
Nitu Ghanghas will now take on the fight with Alua Balkibekova of Kazakhstan while Nikhat Zareen will now face the Rio Olympics bronze medalist, Ingrit Valencia of Colombia.Lovlina aims to bag the gold medal going forward .
