India ready to host first UNESCO World Heritage Committee
The noble news under the event calendar of India comes with a striking announcement of the 46th session of UNESCO World Heritage Committee to be held in India in July. The proud declaration was communicated via Permanent Representative of India to UNESCO, Mr. Vishal V Sharma, thus marking the first time event as remarkable.
With reference to the event, New Delhi will be a representative center of the cultural meet planned to highlight the underlying responsibility of India's promising statement to safeguard and promote the world's aesthetically ethnic riches.
Citing the official statement released by UNESCO, wherein it inferred "At the 19th extraordinary session (UNESCO 2023) the World Heritage Committee decided that its 46th session will take place in India", it has clearly depicted the country where the event will occur. The statement further elaborated "Following a proposal by authorities of the State Party of India, and in consultation with the UNESCO Director General, the 46th session of UNESCO World Heritage Committee will take place from July 21 to 31, 2024 in New Delhi, India."
