Yesterday the panel of CYSS was announced at the student centre, a huge crowd was present at the venue, people came, raised slogans, some were of 'zindabad' the others were of 'murdabad', but after getting done with their business and getting pictures clicked.
The so-called student leaders deserted the venue, left behind was nothing but stickers, pamphlets, and posters of CYSS, ruining the scenic beauty of the student centre, the very heart of Panjab University.
We have often heard the contesting parties and leaders talking about the beautification of the campus, but are just the normal students and the administration responsible for this goal, it can only be achieved by collective efforts, in no way are they exempted from this.
Isn't this hypocrisy at its peak from their side, they can't even maintain basic human ettiques and manners which children are taught in kindergarten, then how can we, the students of this university trust them with the administration of the university and affairs related to the student welfare.
Talking about the beautification of the campus, and not organising a single cleanliness drive, the leaders must ask before blowing their own trumpets, the public now is vigilant and not a fool.
PU Pulse has raised this issue several times, calls have been made to conduct paperless elections and this time the question on paperless elections is once again in the witness box
