MCM cadets shine at 75th Republic Day Parade

"नारी सब पर भारी"

The slogan has come true as the NCC army wing of Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for women, Sector 36, Chandigarh represented the all girls contingent for the first time on the occasion of 75th Republic Day Parade at the Kartavya Path, New Delhi.

The cadets were not only involved in the parade but also made a remarkable history by participating in the Vande Bharatam-Nari Shakti 2024 event. SGT Anukriti Sharma, SGT Prathamesha and Cadet Manya of college's NCC army wing performed in Haryanvi group dance where more than 1500 women dancers represented different states of India with their different dance styles.

Cadet Khushi has been the part of Punjab Haryana Himachal Pradesh Directorate and CPL Rabya Siag to be the part of annual NCC Prime Minister rally at Cariappa Parade Ground in Delhi on 27th January 2024.

Cadet Ananya Sehgal of NCC army wing also participated in 1 Chandigarh girls Bn at RDC Parade 2024 at Parade ground Sector 17 Chandigarh. The team grabbed the price for the first runner up and also got second position in the drill competition.
