Mehak Singh, a heart of gold from UILS rewarded by Chandigarh Adminintration for priceless social service
Let's take a moment to acknowledge the wonderful work of Mehak Singh, a 4th-year student of B.Com LLB (Hons) from Panjab University who is a helping hand to many. As a result, she is honored with the "Commendation award by Chandigarh administration for social service" during Republic Day celebrations held at Parade Ground, Sector 17. The award was presented by Sh. Nitin Kumar Yadav, advisor to Administrator UT Chandigarh.
Mehak, Secretary of the Society for Divine Reiki Meditation (NGO), has also expressed her willingness to donate her whole body to PGI after death for research and the benefit of humanity. Moreover, she motivated 14 people for this cause. Be it COVID waves or cold waves, she never stepped back from serving the needy ones. She has been distributing blankets and groceries to the underprivileged sections of society sleeping throughout the corners of market corridors.
Besides this, she also organized free blood test camps, dental test camps, blood cancer, and blood donating camps, and free Reiki healing camps. For the past 4 years, she has been selflessly helping other women suffering from cancer to afford their chemo & post-chemo treatment. She is definitely exemplary in her work and is a motivation to everyone for being more kind and compassionate towards society.
