Mr. Patankar (SCS, PU) shares a proud moment with Panjab University by presenting his paper at Lyon, France
Mr. Sameer Patankar, a research scholar from the School of Communication Studies (SCS), recently presented a presentation from his PhD research at a conference in Lyon, France, with the title "A Study of Cultural Adaptation Among Mixed-Marriages in Mumbai."
Under the direction of Prof. (Dr.) Mohanmeet Khosla, Mr Patankar is currently a Senior Research Fellow and Ph.D. Scholar pursuing a doctorate in the field of "Intercultural Communication. He hails from Mumbai but moved to Chandigarh to complete his doctorate as started with his journey at PU in 2019.
He has been teaching "Media & Communications" to undergraduate and graduate courses at several universities and colleges for the previous 7 years. In addition, he has experience as a journalist, having worked for respected media organizations including the Express Group, TIMES Group, Zed Media, etc. University is proud to have such intellectuals.
