The Panjab University’s Teachers Association elections once again saw the Mritunjay-Naura group back with clear margins. For the past 5 years, they have been elected as PUTA executive body. On 17th November 2022, the group saw a clear win against the Naresh-Neeraj Team.
The PUTA executive body includes Supinder Kaur (President) who secured 352 votes, Suman Sumi (Vice President) 367 votes, Amarjit Singh Naura (Secretary) 327 votes, Sarvnarinder Kaur (Joint Secretary) 344 votes, and Vijayta Chadha (Treasurer) 321 votes.
The elections have demonstrated how democracy can thrive by paving the way and setting an example.
