The NSUI controversy has no end in sight: the Party releases an old Letter of Suspension that was not released earlier.
Yesterday, PU Pulse was the first to post an update about the arrest of NSUI Evening Department Party President after being accused of Sexual Harassment. Soon after that, his pictures went viral on all the social media handles.
After the post went viral, a letter was released by NSUI Party which was undersigned by State President, Sachin Galav, stating that the accused person was removed from the party on February 22 and was no longer linked with the party.
A fact check has been done on the letter released but the letter was nowhere to be found on any social media, or any press release on February 22 and afterwards. The party, which issued a small to small statement, released a Letter of Suspension of 8 members with sign of Incharge Hussain Sultania on the same date, gave clarification over Delhi meeting but has no where stated that the Party President's removal remark before he was charged with a crime.
The party is even defending itself rather than releasing a statement over the alleged crime committed by their 'suspended' member.
It has been interesting to see the double standards of NSUI or is it some form of discrimination limited to some members of the party?
