In a recent incident in Sector 22, Chandigarh, the public was shocked when an unidentified individual opened fire on shopkeepers during a dispute. The culprit fled the scene after firing multiple rounds, targeting both the shopkeeper and their workers. Although no injuries were reported, the firing incident has instilled fear among the people.
The individual, who came to the market to sell his phone, got into a disagreement with some shopkeepers regarding the price. Allegedly, after being assaulted, the individual fired shots while escaping.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the police quickly arrived at the scene and found an empty shell.The police have recorded the statement of the shopkeeper and assured appropriate action against the incident.
