Today Aayush Khatkar, (President, PUCSC) along with his CYSS team under the leadership of senior leader, Navaldeep Singh, Ravinder Gill, Sumit Ruhal, Divyansh Thakur,, Lakshay Verma (Executive Member, PUCSC) met with Vice Chancellor and raised the demand of removing officials holding ABVP positions.
Along with that a memorandum has been submitted by them which includes the matters like
1. Alloting space for the building of new hostels by the authorities.
2. The renovation of hostels mainly the washrooms.
3. Fixed hours for meeting authorities like the Dean Student Welfare (DSW), Dean University Instruction(DUI) etc.
4. Appointment of PUCSC members and DSW as ex-officio members of PU Senate and Syndicate.
5. Postponing of exams as the syllabus is only not fully completed because of late admissions.
6. Opening of canteens in BMS block, English department, and UBS department.
7. Addressing the recent issues in security of BDS block
8. Opening of the passage adjoining gate no.3
As per them The Vice Chancellor assured that necessary actions will be taken to resolve the student issues.
