The tensed environment in the AC Joshi library came to relief yesterday night when the Girl who stole the iPhone 12 worth Rs. 80,000 from the first floor of AC Joshi library of MA first year student has been caught.
As per the information, the same girl was entering into the library yesterday night and as PU Pulse had uploaded the CCTV footage already on their channel, the students recognised her and informed the librarian. The girl whose iphone was stolen has been called and the identity was also confirmed by her. The police was called on the spot and at last, the iPhone was recovered from that girl.
The girl is mentally unstable and she was using the keypad phone herself. She was a resident of Patiala and was an outsider and no id card of Panjab University has been found from her. Mother and sister of the girl was called in the police station. However no FIR has been registered as the girl couldn't have her iphone till the case was ended.
It was PU Pulse who always raised the voice and worked as student welfare. After Pulse posted about this issue, within 2 days the girl was caught. Even after posting about issues Pulse received random calls that the girl is mentally unstable and roaming around the pu market.
However after all this, a big question arises on pu security lapse as how an outsider is entering into the library and easily going out by stealing an iphone.
