Sukhbir Singh who is Assistant Professor at GGDSD College, Sector 32C, Chandigarh has been included as one of the two handball players from India in the Asian Continental Referee course organized by Handball Federation of Uzbekistan in Tashkent.
Along with him Tejveer Singh from Punjab has been selected for the same.Those who pass this course will be certified as an International Referee batch and till now no batch of our country has got a chance for selection in it.
This is for the first time that former handball players of India could get a chance to get the international referee batch.
In this test, everyone has to face many types of tests which includes physical, written, practical, DVD etc tests.
Sukhbir has been playing handball for Chandigarh for many years and has earned medals for National as well as Panjab University.
He has got 3 silver, 1 bronze and 1 gold medals for the university
