With just a few days left for the PUCSC elections 2023, each party is trying to be the boss by playing political games, members are quitting and swapping their allegiances, the once most prominent faces are now openly leading a rebellion against their previous organisation.
Two such rebels of NSUI, Reetinder Robby Sidhu, former president of Chandigarh NSUI, and Rahul Kumar, former elected vice president of PU students council have been taken in control by NSUI, as they have officially rejoined the party.
The meeting regarding the same was held in the Rajiv Gandhi Congress bhawan, addressing the members of the meeting, the President Chandigarh congress, Harmohinder Singh lucky, said that NSUI has been constantly working for the welfare of the students of the city, and that he is very much confident, that NSUI is going to win win the upcoming elections both in PU and its affiliated colleges.
Hussain sultania, in charge of Chandigarh NSUI, talked about his party's commitment to tackling the issues of student fraternity, Ritu barala, the co incharge of Chandigarh NSUI, stressed upon the importance of participation of girls in the student politics, and how NSUI can be the right choice for them.
Sachin Galav, President of Chandigarh NSUI and Municipal Counciller, said that he is confident of his party's victory in the forthcoming elections owing to the ground presence and work of the party.
However, there are several questions that are still unanswered. During a meeting between Rahul Kumar and Kanhaiya Kumar, in-charge clearly stated that there were no plans for revocation but then why did the party still clear their stand on suspended leaders.
