Vani Jairam, popular South Indian playback singer passes away at 78
Today, Vani Jairam, a popular veteran singer since the 90s was found dead at her Haddows Road home in Chennai.
She had been a famous singer since the past five decades recording around 10,000 songs in almost 19 languages for over a 1000 movies. She was also awarded with Padma Bhushan recently.
