In the meeting held at Akali Dal office, sector 28, Chandigarh, SOI (Student Organisation of India), a student division of the SAD (Shiromani Akali Dal) party announced its panel for the upcoming elections 2023.
The Panel features a diverse set of individuals who will hold key positions within the organisation. Meet Jatana the senior leader and former SOI President will be election in charge for this year. Apart from that, Harkamal Bhure Gill as President, Jatinderjeet Singh Brar as the Executive President, and Bhupinder Singh announced as the Party President. Bhupinder Singh was also working as elected DR of the Law department in campus. Bikram Sandhu will take the role of Working President, while Gurnoor Kanda serves as the Chairman and Sanjam Dhillon as the Campus President. Tarshinder Singh will act as the Party Incharge, and Arsh Dhillon as the Chief Patron. Shekhar Kamboj stepped in as the Vice President of the SOI Panjab University .
The panel was appointed under the coordination of Gurpreet Singh and Raju Khanna.
Chetan Chaudhary was the last president from SOI in the 2019 Students Council elections and in last year's elections, the party fought under the Presidentship of Madhav Sharma and got 1336 votes without any alliance and placed at 4th position.
