SGPC launched a Youtube channel to Air Gurbani, The Sikh Gurdwara Amendment bill granted 60 lakhs for the same

Recently, the Punjab government and SGPC were in a controversy regarding the Live telecast of AIR Gurbani. SGPC criticized Mann Government for interfering in their work, whereas CM Bhagwant Maan alleges Badal Government to give rights of Gurbani to only the PTC news channel.

Today, the SGPC gave an indication to launch their own official YouTube channel to air the Gurbani from Golden temple and live telecasting of Kirtan. The general secretary of SGPC, Gurcharan Singh Grewal, states in one of its interviews that "With reference to the order of Sikh Gurus, we have been working to launch a YouTube channel for six months for live telecasting of gurbani and kirtan. An amount of approximately Rs 60 lakhs is granted by the Government for this purpose according to the Sikh Gurudwara amendment bill."

On the kind suggestion of Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh, the SGPC decided to develop their own studio to launch a YouTube channel. However, amid the clash of SGPC with the AAP Government, now let's see what is the opinion of the people of Punjab on the launching of SGPC's own YouTube channel.
