Chandigarh National Crafts Mela is being organised after 2 years in Chandigarh, wherein a mix of culture from all over the nation is to be witnessed. It has been scheduled for 7-16 October in Kalagram.
There will be cultural programs, art exhibitions and tribal performances. On the first day i.e. on Friday, entry is free. After this, entry tickets are required. Other attractions of the fair are "Swarn Lehri", a composition of 42 musical instruments and flemnco dance by Spanish dance groups.
Inauguration will be done by the UT Administrator Banwarilal Purohit. It's being organised by The Cultural Affairs Department and North Zone Cultural Center in order to celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
