The members of Panjab University unit of Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Tuesday sends memorandum to the Vice-Chancellor of the university through different departments of the campus highlighting the various problems related to the varsity and issues of academics.
ABVP members have submitted total 13 memorandums including 16 demands. These demands include strengthening of security, facilities like of tuck shop, dispensers etc., in south campus, resumption of shuttle bus service and increase in e-rickshaw facility, separate section for research scholars in library, initiating process of setting up of new hostel, quality food in hostels, open and alloting GH-11 as soon as possible, filling up of vacant professors seats, rollback of fee hike etc.
ABVP stated that if these issues aren't resolved then they will not hestitate to start a mobilization against the university administration and stated that they committed to provide affordable and quality education to PU students.
As elections are approaching each party is doing different way to attract voters. Do you agree with this new strategy of ABVP?
