Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) workers under Sewarth Vidyarthi, celebrated `Diwali Milan’ with migrants living in slums of Sector 25 on October 20.
Samridhi Narad, coordinator of Sewarth Vidyarthi said that the purpose of this program was to bring happiness in the life of the workers on the auspicious occasion of Diwali and celebrate this festival together with them. The celebrations included lighting lamps and distributing sweets.
She added that ABVP works for the society, through such programs,to inculcate the feeling of togetherness. From small children to elders, everyone participated with great enthusiasm and zeal on this occasion.
