Arvind Kejriwal's jail release, SC grants interim bail till June 1
The Supreme Court after hearing the plea of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has granted him bail. His plea was for interim bail about the ongoing elections for participating in the campaigns. He has spent 50 days in jail since his arrest on March 22 and was in ED custody.
After the interim bail had been granted, Kejriwal will now remain out of jail till June 1, 2024. The Supreme Court took this decision on interim bail in a five-minute hearing on the petition filed by him.
However, the investigating agency had already opposed the grant of bail to the AAP chief but after all opposition to the bail Supreme Court made a statement of granting an interim bail to Arvind Kejriwal.
