A somber atmosphere has engulfed Dav College, Sector 10, Chandigarh, following the devastating news of a female student from the BSc Medical 3rd Year taking her own life in her hostel room. The student was discovered lifeless, hanging from the fan in her room at Hostel NH1.
What makes this tragedy even more poignant is that just moments before the incident, she was observed moving about the hostel premises seemingly in good spirits, giving no indication of the turmoil she may have been experiencing internally.
College entry has been closed. More details are awaited. Even the reasons are not known yet.
