On completion of the one year launch of Ayush Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) and four years of the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana Scheme , a two day conference was organised at Delhi. Chandigarh received 2 awards for linking the maximum health records to Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA). This was the highest among all the states and UTs. Chandigarh also had maximum registrations from nurses and doctors under healthcare professional registry.
ABHA Id is a 14-digit number that is specific to every person containing their medical history and records. The healthcare professional registry provides an interface between doctors and patients, also providing easy consultations.
ABDM was proposed to regulate, organise and support healthcare and other medical facilities throughout the country. It is a platform that promotes digital infrastructure in the aspect of the medical field. Linking of health records, providing registered medical facilities is extremely useful for the enhanced future patient-doctor interactions.
