ISSF world championship - Sainyam brings gold to the nation.
Sainyam from DAV College Sector-10, Chandigarh made everyone proud by grabbing the gold at the ISSF junior world championship .Sainyam backed up her win in the Suhl Junior World Cup last month, with an encore in Changwon, Korea. She proved herself once again in the Women's 10m Air pistol category.
In the qualifying round, she managed to be at the 5th place with 576 points and enter into the finals. In the finals, Sainyam was in a league of her own and gave her best shot by shooting 242.2 to the silver winning Korean Oh Ye Jin's 239.4. China's Yao Qianxun finished third with 218.6.
ISSF junior world championships 2023 are being held in South Korea for Rifle, Pistol and Shotgun .These young men and women are making every Indian proud with their unbeatable performances. India has managed to win 10 medals at the end of Day 3 and we are very sure that there is a lot more to come.
